In Minecraft, the End is a unique dimension that players can only escape after defeating the Ender Dragon. Once the dragon is defeated, an exit portal appears, allowing you to return to the Overworld.

However, if you don't have an exit portal or can't access it, there are a few alternative methods you can try:

๐Ÿฐ 1. Search for an End City

- End Cities are large floating structures located throughout the End.
- Sometimes, an End City includes an End Ship, which contains an Elytra (wings) that can help you travel โ€” but it will not return you directly to the Overworld.
- Exploring these cities might help you find resources for survival or easier ways to reach an exit.

๐ŸŒ€ 2. Find an End Gateway

- End Gateways are small, floating portals with a swirling purple center.
- They usually appear after defeating the Ender Dragon but sometimes generate naturally.
- These portals teleport you to different areas of the End, often to new islands โ€” they do not usually return you directly to the Overworld, but they might lead you closer to another way out.

๐Ÿงช 3. Attempt the Ender Pearl Trick

- Throw an Ender Pearl at the edge of a block, then quickly walk into it.
- In rare cases, this can glitch the game and teleport you back to the Overworld.

โš ๏ธ Warning: This trick is not guaranteed to work and could leave you stuck or cause fall damage. Use at your own risk!

๐Ÿšจ If All Else Fails...

- Unfortunately, without the exit portal, there is no guaranteed way to return to the Overworld without dying to the void....

๐Ÿงญ Final Tips

- Always prepare with plenty of Ender Pearls, blocks, and backup gear when exploring the End.
- Defeating the Ender Dragon remains the primary way to safely create an exit portal.
